The fob has a Leverback closure which is round in shape, so they fit more easily with many shapes and sizes of scissor handles. The Leverback back is finer than a lobster clasp. These will fit most scissor handle sizes and do not add bulk within the handle which could reduce finger space. They are also easy to remove if you want to change your fob. We also sell the embroidery scissors to complement your fobs.
The bee charms have diamante stones and are 3D in shape. The fob is created by attaching the charm to several beaded links using a variety of ‘limited’ beads, spacer beads or connecting link. Each link is joined with split rings to create a ‘fluid’ chain in that it moves quite freely which I find really works well as a scissor fob as it tends to move easily while you are using the scissors and seem to sit comfortably in your hand. The fob measures approximately 3″ from end of charm to base of leverback clasp.
Can also be used as a key ring, bag charm, purse charm or phone charm.
I have endeavoured to photograph the scissor fobs to best represent their colours, but please be aware that colours will vary from monitor to monitor. Bear in mind that the variation photo will ONLY show the colour option of the charm so you WILL receive the colour of your scissor fob BUT it may NOT necessarily be the one shown in the photo. Since I use limited and one-off beads in the fob, it is important to be mindful of this when selecting colour range you wish to purchase.
