Why not learn a relaxing needlecraft technique while stitching this new design by Nifty Needles? The saying featured on this design is such a wonderful saying that is true for so many reasons and is stitched using a technique called Redwork, which is the name given for pictures which are stitched with thread. It was originally done with red thread but now many colours are used. The flowers and leaves are attached to the fabric using an applique technique with blanket stitch stitching.
The kits come in a variety of colour choices, so when purchasing, please select the colour option you would like your finished design in. Fabric prints may vary between actual kits, but the colour range will always be the same. We have three colour options available at present – Blue, Red and Lilac. The kit includes the calico, assorted fabrics for your flowers and leaves, bondaweb for the applique, Perle cotton threads and a chenille needle. Also included is detailed pattern instructions with step by step instructions.
In addition to the kit, you will need pencil, paper and embroidery/thread scissors and a 5” or 6” embroidery hoop. If you have not got an embroidery hoop, you will be able to purchase one from our website.
