Calico is a 100% cotton fabric, which makes it ideal for all quilting, embroidery and creative projects. Calico’s natural properties make it the ideal fabric for dyeing as well as being suitable for use in conjunction with other natural fabrics as part of larger textile projects such as quilts, wall hangings etc.
No finish has been applied to the fabric. It is 155 GSM weight.
Please allow for shrinkage as this is NOT a PRE-SHRUNK fabric.
The cream calico is the unbleached state of the fabric. It is what I use for my Inktense colouring, and most embroidery designs.
The price is for a 1/2 metre (Approx 20 inches) of fabric and the width is approximately 48 Inches (122cm). Multiple purchases will be cut in one continuous length (e.g. a quantity of 2 meaning 2 x 1/2 m = 1 metre, which would be cut and sent as a 1 metre piece)
