Description

Jacob fleece yields a fairly soft fleece and the unique patches of colour makes every garment individual.
The colours of the fleece can be separated or blended during spinning to produce a yarn of various shades from nearly white to nearly all black. Jacob wool is suitable for most outerwear garments.
This fibre was spun from the staple of a washed fleece, with the natural colour being the fawn.

This yarn is a 2-ply yarn, in that 2 bobbins were filled and then spun again in the opposite direction to create a balanced twisted yarn.
The yarn thickness in the 1” notch of the wooden gauge.
