Description

Texel is originally from the Netherlands and produces a good dense fleece of medium quality.  It is which is suitable for mitts, hats or outer garments.
This Texel – Dark Grey Natural fibre was spun from the staple of a washed fleece.  The natural colour being the fawn.
This yarn is a 2-ply yarn, in that 2 bobbins were filled and then spun again in the opposite direction to create a balanced twisted yarn.

The yarn thickness is in the 1” notch of the wooden gauge.
