Be Mine Valentine Redwork

£3.00£4.50

This romantic design is not just limited to one day – it can easily be left out on display all year. Why should our display of affection be limited to just one day?

The design is suitable for all skill levels and is a great introduction to needlework. I have included a touch of Inktense colouring to bring the roses to life. This is not essential, and the colouring could be left out, so it is a straight Redwork design.

Valentine’s Day is now about celebrating romantic love, friendship and admiration with sending messages of love and affection to partners, family and friends. It has also become very commercial with sending cards, flowers, presents or a romantic dinner. Why not be a bit different and create an everlasting expression of love and admiration this Valentine? This romantic design is not just limited to one day – it can easily be left out on display all year. Why should our display of affection be limited to just one day? This design would also make a lovely personal wedding gift. You could easily include and stitch the wedding date and their names.

I wanted to do it in Redwork using the basic Back Stitch so it was a quick project. The design is suitable for all skill levels and is a great introduction to needlework. I have included a touch of Inktense colouring to bring the roses to life. This is not essential, and the colouring could be left out, so it is a straight Redwork design.

How you display them is entirely your choice. You can frame them into their own frames or make them into a wall hanging or cushion (instructions are not given). I have displayed mine in a self-standing frame duo so they can sit on a window sill or shelf.
