These handy little zipped pouches are deceptively easy to make and come in a choice of 3 different sizes. Once you have mastered the technique the size can be easily adapted. The small one is ideal as a coin purse in your handbag or to keep in the car. The larger ones could be used to keep sewing accessories in such as ‘wondaclips’ or safety pins, the list is endless! They would also make a quick and easy last-minute gift.

What sets these pyramid pouches apart from others, is that there are no seams visible inside the pouch. This pattern will take you step by step to inserting a zip in and creating a pouch with no visible seams inside. It is a simple project and ideal for beginners. I highly recommend using the double side basting tape for sewing your zip, instead of using pins – it makes it so much easier.

Approximate Finished Sizes: Small – 3 ½” H, W, D | Medium – 4 ½” H, W, D | Large – 5 ½” H, W, D

The kit contains the pre-cut fabric, wadding and zips to make the 2 sizes (medium/large), so no measuring and cutting is required. This pattern is supported with full colour diagrams to make following and reading the pattern straight forward.

The kit comes in a choice of fabrics (the fabrics may not be the exact fabric shown in the colour fabric photo BUT will be of the same colour range) or ‘surprise’ option. The surprise box contains the same carefully selected quality of fabric. But the surprise being the fabric design – it will only be revealed when you open your box. It is a nice way to give yourself a gift – you know what project you are making but have no idea what type of fabric will be in the box. The fabrics selected for the Surprise Box are last of the fabric and may also be different fabric for the two sizes. This is reflected in that they are slightly cheaper than the fabric range boxes.
