Bulky seam aid is used to help your sewing machine sew over bulky seams on jeans or other thick layered fabrics. If you have problems going over thick seams with your sewing machine, this handy little tool is a must.

This aid keeps the pressure foot horizontal to help feed thick layers evenly and to keep the stitch consistent. It has two widths for use with different fabric thicknesses. 

It can be used on all sewing machines.

Pop it under the back of your presser foot this will keep it horizontal. This will assist you over thick seams and layers and prevent uneven stitches or broken needles.

It can also be used for creating a button shank when sewing on buttons.
