Description

This pattern contains the instructions and templates for making [3] storage sacks designed for the tree decorations in [3] sizes. The sack is padded with wadding to create some protection and with a simple design on the front. These bags are not limited to storing tree decorations but would also make great gift bags.

The bags are easy to make, and the applique can be either be stitched by hand using Blanket Stitch, or as I have done, free motion applique on the machine. Either technique would look great.

These sacks would also be lovely without the designs on the front. Just grab some patterned Christmas fabric and sew up a sack (or all 3) and you have a brilliant gift sack for holding a gift.

Oh Christmas Tree (Large) ­20” x 15” (approx.)

Jingle Bells (Medium) ­17 ½” x 11” (approx.)

Christmas Stars (Small) ­14 ½” x 10 ½” (approx.)
