Description

A rambling Rose grows over an old post holding a bird’s house in an overgrown garden. Such a pretty find in the garden – who knows what else you may find.

This is a great beginners project for both Redwork and getting into sewing/patchwork.

Redwork does not need to be done in red. It looks just as lovely in other colours – I have done up a couple of kits with different colours of thread.

Redwork uses simple embroidery stitches such as back stitch, daisy stitch and French knots.

The kit includes all the materials needed to make the wallhanging… iron on interfacing, border/binding fabric, stitchery fabric, embroidery thread, chenille needle and pattern/embroidery stitches handout. You just need to provide the wadding and backing fabric.

SIZE – 12” high by 10” across

This extensive pattern is supported with full colour line diagrams to make following and reading the pattern straight forward. It has also been tested by my wonderful group of pattern testers.
