Adding colour with your embroidery onto fabric adds another dimension to your embroidery. The most common form of colour is created by Derwentwater artists’ pencils, Inktense pencils. Inktense pencils can be used like colouring pencils, but their most amazing qualities come into play when the colour is activated with water or another medium. Their colours become brilliant with a light of transparency like a very intense watercolour. But since they are inks, the colours are permanent once dry. It is just like colouring in, but a lot more fun.
