Description

The Moorit refers to a crossbred sheep that produces a warm brown fleece. This fleece came from New Zealand and is a medium soft fibre which would be suitable for hats, mitts and outer wear
This fibre was spun from the staple of a washed fleece, with the natural colour being the brown.
This yarn is a 2-ply yarn, in that 2 bobbins were filled and then spun again in the opposite direction to create a balanced twisted yarn.
The yarn thickness is in the 1” notch of the wooden gauge.
